PilotFish Launches Healthcare Subsidiary to Solve Unmet Integration Challenges
Industry Solution Providers Embrace New Technology and Achieve Faster Time to Market and
Quicker Customer Implementations
MIDDLETOWN, CT, February 11, 2014 – PilotFish Technology, a leading provider of middleware solutions, today announced the international launch of healthcare subsidiary Applied PilotFish Healthcare Integration, Inc. (APHI), marketed as PilotFish Healthcare. The launch comes a year after the company first introduced a suite of integration solutions at the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) annual conference. Since the initial introduction, PilotFish Healthcare has demonstrated its capabilities in enabling the rapid development, deployment and maintenance of complex interfaces for solution providers across the healthcare industry.
“The immediate success we achieved with healthcare solution providers proves that there is a huge demand for easier, faster solutions to complex integration requirements,” stated Neil Schappert, CEO, PilotFish Healthcare. “Whether you are a provider of cloud services, software applications, equipment or devices, rapid implementation and integration of your solution is critical to your success. The graphical Assembly Line process built into our products dramatically speeds up and simplifies the configuration of complex healthcare interfaces, enabling solution providers to complete implementations sooner using fewer resources and bring on new clients and resulting revenue streams faster.”
“The PilotFish interface engine has reduced the time it takes to bring on new clients by about 90 percent,” said Jerry Verden, vice president, Information Technology, at EMSI, a market-leading solution provider in information services. “The Assembly Line gives us the ability to reuse any interface or interface component with only minor configuration changes, making our integration of information services virtually ‘plug & play’. We have undertaken dozens of customer implementations involving thousands of interface endpoints using the PilotFish interface engine and they have all been completed on time and within budget. This makes our customers happy, makes us happy, and allows us to continue the rapid growth trajectory of our business.”
In addition to the proprietary graphical Assembly Line process, PilotFish offers the first data mapping tool to facilitate complex data mapping in a fully graphical environment while also providing the flexibility of working with XSLT, if desired. The product’s graphical Data Mapper and its ability to map data without programming or scripting vastly simplifies and speeds up data mapping from any format to any other format. It also allows non-developers to assist with data transformation, typically the most time intensive part of any integration project.
“We chose the PilotFish solution after a side-by-side comparison with other leading integration engines, basing our decision on a wide range of criteria including time, cost, risk and quality,” said Mr. Verden. “In addition to satisfying all of those criteria, we found PilotFish to offer the easiest-to-use solution to satisfy the challenging interface requirements we work with on a daily basis.”
Appearance at HIMSS14
PilotFish Healthcare will showcase its full line of healthcare integration solutions at the upcoming HIMSS14 annual conference in Orlando, Florida, February 23-27. The company invites HIMSS14 attendees to visit booth (7665) to take a Test Drive or watch a live demo of its interface engine and receive a free stuffed fish toy.
